Tika is a Canadian artist, singer-songwriter, actress, host, and television personality born and raised in Oakville, Ontario. Widely known for her frequent appearances on the panel of MTV’s The After-show from 2007-2010, she is also a correspondent for Much Music. In 2007, she took on a journalist/correspondent role for the non-profit organization “What’s the 411″ to document the struggles of girls around the world and her efforts with this organization continue to date.
Tika graduated from Toronto’s Etobicoke School of the Arts in 2002 as a Music Theatre & Violin Major where she excelled to become a first chair level 6 violinist and a trained pianist. Her vocal and song writing abilities as an R&B/electro pop artist will be on display with her upcoming debut album scheduled for release at the end of 2011. In July 2010, Tika pioneered an interactive open-mic special, the only one of its kind, titled Intimate & Interactive catering towards some of Canada’s biggest music enthusiasts and artists.
