Ashley McKenzie-Barnes is Art Director and Visual Artist who has has been involved in the arts since childhood. With her start in Toronto‘s urban radio station FLOW 93.5FM, to her first Art Showcase “Portrait” and into the creative side of Art Direction. Her work has graced the covers of SWAY, Eye Weekly, CREAMWORLD, Canadian Immigrant, and Caribana. She has also worked alongside the industry-renowned International video-director Lil X, screen-play writer Trey Anthony, Toronto Centre for the Arts and in 2010, she was a guest speaker at Metro Hall for the Arts for All Canada Conference and is now the 2010 Visual Art Director. Ashley is now on board as the Visual Arts Director for the Manifesto Festival and is one of the featured artists at the Caribana Art Exhibition inside the Royal Ontario Museum titled “From the Soul”
