“You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.” ~ Denis Waitley
How To Step Into The Unknown
When we step into the unknown we have no reference point for what’s to come. We’re set adrift in the dark. Groping, blind and a little bit scared. And when we’re alone in the dark, that’s when all the scary stuff that’s locked deep within our mind comes to the surface.
We may feel like…We’re not good enough. We’re not smart enough. Or we’ll never get things right. I’m here to tell you that you are good enough. You are smart enough. And eventually you will figure it out and everything will be fine. All throughout your life you will journey from the known to the unknown. From the light into the darkness and back again.
Edward Teller said that, “When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it’s time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly.”
Faith can mean trust. So when you’re stepping into the unknown you really have the chance to trust again.
Trust Helps You Step Into The Unknown
Trust in yourself.
Trust that everything will be OK.
Ultimately trust that the universe will conspire in your favor.
That whatever is to come will bring into your life more joy, more love and more abundance.
So take that next step and trust.
Trust that you’ll be given something solid to stand on or that you’ll be taught to fly.
